RAC Website Features State Resources (Short Version)

The Rural Assistance Center (RAC), a national resource for rural health and human services information, offers web-based State Resources pages. The State Resources pages allow easy access to continuously updated demographics and statistics, documents and resources, contacts and success stories for all 50 states. 

Each state’s page features a statistical overview of the state and its rural health and human services environment.  In addition, the pages include:

• Tools, including websites with demographic and statistical information

• Documents and resources, including publications from various research centers, rural and public health agencies, and journals

• State-level contacts, organizations and groups involved in rural health

• Funding programs available in the state

• News and upcoming events of interest to rural health

• Examples of successful projects in the state that can serve as model projects in rural communities
