The FRED Scholarships provide $1,000-$5000 scholarships to students who have rural backgrounds and show interest in returning to rural areas upon completion of degree programs.


Both high school seniors and students already attending postsecondary schooling are eligible to apply. A student must be nominated by a FRED Donor Circle Company.

Amount of

General Scholarships: $1,000 - $5,000
Everette Kneece Return to Rural America Scholarship: $5,000


Applicants must be nominated by a FRED Donor Circle Company.
