Purpose

The Allied Healthcare Scholarship Program awards scholarships to California residents who are enrolled in allied healthcare programs.

Recipients must agree to provide direct patient care on a full time basis in a designated shortage area in California for a minimum of one year.

Eligibility

Applicants must be free from any other service obligation and enrolled in an eligible allied healthcare program. A complete list of eligible professions is available in the application instructions.

The maximum award amount is $15,000 in return for one year of service.
