Purpose

The California Health Care Foundation (CHCF) accepts unsolicited funding requests from organizations working to improve the health of the underserved through health services and policy.

Funding priorities include:

  • Health equity
  • Health insurance coverage for all Californians
  • Strengthening and diversifying the workforce
  • Transforming Medi-Cal for people with complex needs
Eligibility

Grants awarded by CHCF are not limited to California entities or to individuals residing in California; however, projects must have relevance to California healthcare delivery issues.
