Purpose IFF makes below-market loans to nonprofit corporations located in or serving low-income communities and special needs groups. In accordance with its mission, IFF works with organizations that may lack access to other types of financing in order to help deserving nonprofits move forward with their own missions. IFF makes loans for maintenance and improvements, equipment, facility acquisition or renovation, new construction and, in some cases, for working capital needs and pre-development expenses. The loans will cover all related costs in most cases. IFF also makes loans for projects that are designed to increase or diversify earned revenue.
