Deadlines Applications accepted on an ongoing basis
Purpose Provides low-cost, short and intermediate term loans for community water and wastewater projects through its Community Revolving Loan Fund.
Eligibility Communities and other public water or wastewater entities less than 10,000 population (less than 3,000 priority) in MAP's nine state service area.

coverage
Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming
Amount of
funding
Loans will be based on need with planning and pre-development loans expected to range from $3,000 to $40,000. Equipment, facility construction and system upgrade loans range larger, depending upon need, other financing partners and availability of funds. For loan requests beyond the capacity of the loan fund, MAP is available to assist the community in securing other sources of funding.
