My Hometown Helper Grant Program

Purpose Individuals from communities and organizations across America can visit the program's Web site to submit a written essay describing how the "My Hometown Helper" grant would help improve their community project. Examples of possible community projects include: Lights or bleachers for the baseball, soccer or football fields; Books for the school, library, or literacy programs; Playground equipment for the park; Boys & Girls Clubs Programs; New uniforms for Little League teams; Red Cross health and safety programs; Swimming and lifeguard training; Equipment or supplies for a local food bank; YMCA/YWCA tutoring or job training initiatives
Eligibility All requests for funding must be sponsored by a municipal or civic organization or public school. Applicants must have 501(c) (4) or public school status.

Applicants can request a one-time award of between $500 and $15,000 during any single month.
Application
process
Applications will be evaluated monthly. The application form is available on the Program web site.
