| Deadlines |
February 15, 2010 |
| Purpose |
Provides scholarships to students able to demonstrate financial need.
USA FundsŪ targets its scholarships to students from families with household incomes of $35,000 or less because national studies have shown significantly lower college-going rates for these students than for students from higher-income families. We understand that family economic situations change from year to year. If your income level drops below $35,000 in 2009, you may be eligible to apply for next year's scholarship program. |
| Eligibility |
Students from households with annual incomes of $35,000 or less, with priority consideration given to students who are members of ethnic minority groups, physically disabled, or residents of states for which USA Funds serves as the designated guarantor. Students must be enrolled or plan to enroll in an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school. Students must plan to enroll or be enrolled beginning with the fall 2010 term through Feb. 1, 2011.
