| Purpose |
Funding to impactful, grassroots organizations that leverage innovation and creativity to address childhood hunger and nutrition needs in communities where ConAgra Foods' employees live and work or states where 20 percent or more of children are food insecure. Organizations that demonstrate a strong alignment with the foundation's giving strategies (i.e., direct service, capacity building, and advocacy) and core funding priorities have the greatest chance of receiving a grant. |
| Eligibility |
All grant recipients must be nonprofit 501(c)(3) charitable organizations. Religious organizations such as churches, mosques, and synagogues may qualify only if their outreach programs are offered to the general population regardless of religious affiliation and they have established a separate 501(c)(3) organization to operate the funded program(s).

Amount of
funding |
Will award grants ranging between $10,000 and $100,000 each. Approximately thirty organizations will be invited to submit a full application for funding and fifteen or fewer will be awarded a grant. |

ConAgra Foods Foundation grants are announced quarterly. Proposals must be received by the last working day of January, April, July and October.
2010 Community Impact Grants program is open from January 11, 2010, to January 29, 2010 for eligible organizations to submit a Letter of Interest.
Paper applications are no longer accepted by the ConAgra Foods Foundation. All letters of interest and applications must be received through the online grant application process. In addition, the Foundation will not accept or review unsolicited applications received in hard-copy or outside the pre-determined timelines established for each grant program. |
