| Purpose |
Through its grants, the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation seeks to seed efforts that improve the quality of life for all Arkansans and promote positive, systemic change. The Foundation uses its resources to build and sustain strong communities by supporting and strengthening the organizations that serve them. All funded projects address one or more of the following program areas:
Enabling all children and adults to fully develop their capacities to improve themselves and to contribute to the educational, cultural, economic, civic, and social vitality of their communities.
Empowering individuals and institutions to improve the standard of living and economic viability of low-income communities.
Engaging institutions and individuals in the struggle for pervasive justice in the lives of all Arkansans and their communities.

| Eligibility |
Tax-exempt, 501(c)(3), nonprofit organizations working to improve the lives of Arkansans are eligible to apply for funding.
Government agencies, schools, colleges, and universities seeking funding that will be specifically earmarked for charitable purposes are all eligible.

Application
process |
Organizations are asked to submit a Concept Paper to WRF program staff. The Foundation does not accept proposals. Organizations seeking funding must submit a concept paper, budget, Request Information Form, and evidence of eligibility. Complete application instructions are available online.
