A 12 month primary care quality improvement collaborative in Ohio designed to enhance cardiovascular health by improving hypertension control, addressing atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease risk, and connecting patients with resources to address health-related social needs.

California Huwighurruk Tribal Health Postbaccalaureate Program
A postbaccalaureate pathway program for American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) students in California who are interested in pursuing a career in medicine.

West Virginia Virtual Summer Academy
A virtual training from Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine for undergraduate students in West Virginia who want to prepare for medical school.

Luce Indigenous Knowledge Fellowship
A self-directed fellowship for Native Americans engaged in meaningful work that benefits Indigenous people and communities in reservation and/or urban settings. The fellowship is open to both emerging and experienced leaders from a wide variety of fields, including but not limited to healthcare, agriculture, food systems, youth leadership development, natural resource management, climate change, economic development, journalism, language and cultural revitalization, and traditional or contemporary arts.

NOSORH Purpose-Driven Leadership Institute
A series of 8 online workshops that cover leadership principles and their practical application to help individuals build leadership and management skills in the context of rural health.

Wy'east Post-Baccalaureate Pathway Program
A 10-month educational program in Portland, Oregon for American Indian and Alaska native post-baccalaureate students who were not accepted to medical school or did not get a qualifying MCAT score. Upon successful completion of the program, participants can gain guaranteed or conditional acceptance into Oregon Health and Science University, Washington State University, and/or University of California Davis Schools of Medicine.

Strong African American Families Program (SAAF) Facilitator Training
Training for individuals to become facilitators certified to conduct the Strong African American Families (SAAF) or Strong African American Families – Teen (SAAF-T) programs.

Minnesota International Medical Graduates Residency Preparation Program – BRIIDGE
A 9-month residency preparatory program for international medical graduates in Minnesota. Training consists of inpatient, outpatient, community, and classroom components designed to optimally prepare participants to succeed in residency programs.

Promoting the Integration of Primary and Behavioral Health Care: States
Funding to improve the health outcomes for people with behavioral health conditions by supporting the adoption and improvement of integrated care models for behavioral and primary physical health at the state level. Tribal, rural, and other medically underserved communities are a program priority. Program eligibility is limited to states and state agencies; however, states must partner with community programs, community mental health centers, Rural Health Clinics, Federally Qualified Health Centers, and/or other primary care practices.

AHRQ Safety Program for Telemedicine
Free learning cohorts of healthcare professionals who use telemedicine as a care delivery model. The 2024 cohort will begin in June 2024 and will focus on appropriate antibiotic use while maintaining patient satisfaction and reducing potential side effects in patients seen via telemedicine. Providers and practices from rural communities are encouraged to apply.
