American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 - Strengthening Communities Fund - Nonprofit Capacity Building Program
The goal of the SCF Nonprofit Capacity Building program is to stimulate grassroots organizations, whether secular or faith based, to maximize their social impact as they provide services to address economic recovery issues present in their communities.

Grants to State, local and Tribal governments to build their capacity to provide nonprofit organizations with capacity building training and technical assistance.

AmeriCorps Indian Tribe FY 2009
An AmeriCorps*Indian Tribe program uses service and volunteering to address compelling community needs.

Community-Based Abstinence Education Project Grants (CBAE)
Competitive grants to provide abstinence education to adolescents.

Compassion Capital Fund (CCF) Demonstration Program
Funds to experienced organizations to deliver capacity building services to faith-based and community organizations through the provision of training, technical assistance, and sub-awards.

Compassion Capital Fund Targeted Capacity-Building Program
Grants are to be used to increase the capacity of faith-based and community organizations to provide social service programs for rural residents, at-risk youth, and the homeless; as well as to provide marriage education services.

Demonstration Program for Elderly Housing for Intergenerational Families
Provides funding for supportive housing for low-income elderly persons.

Equal Access Initiative (EAI) Computer Grants Program
Grant program for minority, faith, and community-based organizations delivering HIV/AIDS services in underserved communities to receive state-of-the-art desktop computers and trainings.

Faith-based Advocacy: Galvanizing Communities to End Childhood Obesity
Funding to support faith-based coalitions to advance community policies or environmental changes that improve access to healthy foods and/or opportunities for physical activity.

Foundations for Learning Grants
Grants to help eligible children become ready for school.

Harold Rogers Prescription Drug Monitoring Training and Technical Assistance Program
Funding to provider(s) to deliver training and technical assistance to state agencies to assist them with developing effective strategies for planning, implementing, or enhancing prescription drug monitoring programs.

Indian Alcohol and Substance Abuse Program (IASAP)
Funding and technical assistance to federally recognized tribal governments to plan, implement, or enhance tribal justice strategies to address crime issues related to alcohol and substance abuse.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service FY 2009
Grants to organizations to plan and carry out projects that bring Americans together to serve in their communities in observation of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

OJJDP FY 2008 Mentoring Programs for At-Risk Tribal Youth
Grants to propose the continuation, expansion or enhancement of initiatives to provide mentoring services to tribal populations that are underserved.

Presbyterian Hunger Program
