Agricultural Health and Safety, Inactive Funding

The funding programs listed below are not currently accepting applications. Programs that are inactive may be offered again in the future.

Agricultural Occupational Health Training Program
Stipends for a training program that provides the information and skills to enable health care professionals to function in the anticipation, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of occupational illnesses and injuries in the farm and ranch community.

Assistive Technology Program for Farmers with Disabilities (AgrAbility)
Grants to enable successful work experience for farmers, ranchers, farm workers or farm family members with disabilities.

High Plains Intermountain Center for Agricultural Health and Safety Feasibility Projects
Grants to encourage new and innovative projects in prevention/intervention, education and outreach, and research in areas outlined in the National Occupational Research Agenda (NORA).

Migrant and Seasonal Farmworkers Program
Funding to provide grants for vocational rehabilitation services to individuals with disabilities who are migrant and seasonal farmworkers and to the family members who are residing with those individuals.

National Children's Center for Rural and Agricultural Health and Safety Special Project and Pilot Study Funds (Mini-grant Program)
Funding to support small-scale projects and pilot studies that address prevention of childhood agricultural disease and injury.
