2009 The Institute for the Improvement of Minority Health and Health Disparities in the Delta Region
The purpose of the Delta Region Institute Cooperative Agreement is to establish a collaborative multi-state programmatic framework to address significant health disparities impacting minorities residing within the Delta Region.

American Psychiatric Foundation 2009 Awards for Advancing Minority Mental Health
The awards recognize psychiatrists, other health professionals, mental health professionals, and mental health programs that have undertaken innovative and supportive efforts to raise awareness of mental illness in underserved minority communities.

Collaborative Technical Assistance and Capacity Development Demonstration Grant Program for the Coordination and Delivery of a Continuum of HIV/AIDS-Related Services in Minority Communities (CTA/CD) Program
Funding to develop and improve the coordination and continuum of comprehensive HIV prevention, treatment and supportive services provided by organizations closely interfaced with targeted minority populations impacted by HIV/AIDS.

Enhancing Access to Quality HIV Care for Women of Color 1) Demonstrations Sites and 2) Evaluation and Technical Assisance Center
This award will support organizations funded under the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Treatment and Modernization Act of 2006 to implement and evaluate focused interventions designed to improve women of color's timely entry into HIV primary care following diagnosis.

Faith-based Advocacy: Galvanizing Communities to End Childhood Obesity
Funding to support faith-based coalitions to advance community policies or environmental changes that improve access to healthy foods and/or opportunities for physical activity.

FY09 In Community Spirit - Prevention of HIV/AIDS for Native/American Indian and Alaska Native Women Living in Rural1 and Frontier Indian Country Program
Funding to increase HIV prevention knowledge and reduce the risk of contracting HIV among Native/American Indian and Alaska Native women living in Indian Country.

Healthy Start Initiative-Eliminating Racial/Ethnic Disparities
Under this program, grants will be awarded to address significant disparities in perinatal health indicators.

Johnson & Johnson Community Health Care Program
Funding to assist community-based, non-profit organizations whose primary goal is to provide creative and effective access to quality health care for the medically underserved.

Recognizing Innovation in Multicultural Health Care Award
Awards to publicly recognize health plans that have implemented initiative to improve the provision of culturally and linguistically appropriate services and reduce health care disparities.

Salud America!
Funding to support research on environmental and policy solutions to the epidemic of obesity among Latino children.
