Assisted Living Conversion Program
The purpose of this program is to provide grants for the conversion of some or all of the dwelling units in an eligible project into assisted living facilities (ALFs) for frail elderly persons.
Brookdale Leadership in Aging Fellowship Program
Fellowship program to encourage the emerging leaders in the field of aging.
Community Innovations In Aging In Place (CIAIP)
Grants to develop and carry out model aging in place projects.
Demonstration Program for Elderly Housing for Intergenerational Families
Provides funding for supportive housing for low-income elderly persons.
Disaster Assistance for State Units on Aging (SUAs) and Tribal Organizations in National Disasters Declared by the President
Grants to provide disaster relief and assistance funds to those State Units on Aging (SUAs) and tribal organizations who are currently receiving a grant under Title VI of the Older Americans Act.
Emergency Capital Repair Program for Multifamily Housing Projects
Grant funds for private nonprofit owners of eligible developments designated for occupancy by elderly tenants to make emergency capital repairs.
Family and Informal Caregiver Support Program
Funding to increase support for family and informal caregivers who assist older adults living in the community.
FY 2008 Enhanced Training and Services to End Violence and Abuse of Women Later in Life Program
Grants for training and services to address elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation, including domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking, involving victims who are 50 years of age or older.
Grants for Native Americans and Native American Caregiver Support Program
Funding for programs to increase home and community based services to older Indians, Alaska Natives and native Hawaiians, which respond to local needs and are consistent with evidence-based prevention practices.
Home Modification Program for the Elderly and for Persons with Disabilities
Funding to eligible applicant organizations for providing home modification repairs and improvements to housing owned or occupied by income-eligible elderly persons and persons with disabilities.
National Center on Senior Transportation Demonstration Grants
Demonstration grants for developing and implementing innovative approaches to increasing senior transportation options and improving older adult mobility.
National Minority Aging Organizations--Technical Assistance Centers
Grants to increase the efficiency of the NMAO Technical Assistance Centers Program to disseminate culturally competent health promotion and disease prevention information.
Senior Medicare Patrol Projects
Grants for model projects that demonstrate effective ways of utilizing retired persons as volunteer expert resources and educators in community efforts to combat health care error, fraud and abuse in the Medicare/Medicaid programs.
