Informal Caregiving, Inactive Funding

The funding programs listed below are not currently accepting applications. Programs that are inactive may be offered again in the future.

Family and Informal Caregiver Support Program
Funding to increase support for family and informal caregivers who assist older adults living in the community.

Family Respite Care Grant
Funding to help alleviate the cost of respite care for families caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia.

Grants for Native Americans and Native American Caregiver Support Program
Funding for programs to increase home and community based services to older Indians, Alaska Natives and native Hawaiians, which respond to local needs and are consistent with evidence-based prevention practices.

MetLife Foundation Family Caregiver Awards Program
These awards will recognize the current work of community agencies and other organizations that support family caregivers as a significant part of their mission.

Phillips Caregiver Award
The Phillips Caregiver Award acknowledges and honors a caregiver’s contribution that is vital to the independence and quality of life of a person with a disability.
