Building System Capacity - Expanding Access to Oral Health Services
Grants for programs designed to increase access to oral health care by establishing new services or expanding existing services in clinical settings, or implementing a community expanding existing services, or implementing a community planning process.

Community Grants
The program provides funding for worthwhile local efforts that offer dental care to underserved persons or elevate the level of oral health education.

Delta Regional Authority Federal Grant Program
Grants to communities in the Mississippi Delta region for infrastructure and economic development activities.

Delta States Rural Development Network Program Grant Program
Grant to support community organizations in the development and implementation of projects to address local health care needs in the rural Delta Region.

Dental Sealant Grant Program
Grants to assist providers of public health services to develop and implement appropriate and feasible programs with clear and measurable objectives to provide dental sealants to Illinois children at high risk for dental caries.

Emergency Medical Services Assistance Fund
The grant provides programs, services, and equipment for Emergency Medical Services.

FY 2010 HIV Prevention and Support Service Grants
Funding for HIV Prevention and Support Services.

Heartsaver AED Fund
Provides matching grants for the purchase of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).

Home Modification Program for the Elderly and for Persons with Disabilities
Funding to eligible applicant organizations for providing home modification repairs and improvements to housing owned or occupied by income-eligible elderly persons and persons with disabilities.

Illinois Allied Health Care Professional Scholarship Program
Scholarships to increase the number of nurse practitioners, physician assistants and certified nurse midwives practicing in areas of Illinois that have an insufficient number of primary care providers.

Illinois Automated External Defibrillator [AED] Grant Program
Funding to increase the availability of AEDs in rural areas.

Illinois Breast & Cervical Cancer Communities of Color Initiative
Funding for breast and cervical cancer awareness, referral, and screening projects.

Illinois HIV/AIDS Communities of Color Initiative Grant 2010
Funding in Illinois for HIV prevention, education, testing, and care programs targeted to communities of color.

Illinois Medical Student Scholarship Program
Awards scholarships to Illinois residents attending medical schools in the state to increase the number of primary care physicians practicing in physician shortage areas.

Illinois Nursing Education Scholarship Program
Provides assistance to individuals pursuing a certificate in practical nursing, an associate degree in nursing, a hospital-based nursing diploma, a baccalaureate degree in nursing or a graduate degree in nursing.

Illinois Oral Health Needs Assessment and Planning Grant Application
Funding to assist communities to determine oral health status and plan comprehensive oral health programs designed to meet community needs.

Integrating Primary Care and Mental Health Services
Funding for primary care providers who wish to partner with mental health providers to manage treatment of mental health problems in a primary care setting.

Jewel-Osco 2009 Hunger Relief Grant Program
Grants to qualified food pantry programs and community soup kitchens to apply for capacity-building funding.

MetLife Foundation Awards for Excellence in Affordable Housing
Awards to organizations that excel in property and asset management or provide housing to people with special needs.

Podiatric Scholarship Program
Scholarship program to increase the number of podiatric physicians practicing in underserved areas of Illinois.

Senior Medicare Patrol Projects
Grants for model projects that demonstrate effective ways of utilizing retired persons as volunteer expert resources and educators in community efforts to combat health care error, fraud and abuse in the Medicare/Medicaid programs.

Strengthening the Capacity of the Oral Health Network
Funding for programs designed to reduce barriers preventing children from receiving optimal levels of oral health care.

Ticket for the Cure Community Grant
Funding for breast cancer research, education and services for breast cancer victims.

UnitedHealth HEROES Service Learning Grants
Funding to support youth-led projects that address childhood obesity.

Weyerhaeuser Company Foundation
Provides grants in communities where the company has operations.

Women's Health Initiative Grant Program
Grants to enable communities to begin or to enhance women's health programming efforts in the areas of outreach, health promotion and education.
