Medica Foundation Cycle 1 Funding Priorities

Medica Foundation Cycle 2 Funding Priorities
Grants designed to improve health care disparities in the areas of prevention and health care literacy.

Phillips Caregiver Award
The Phillips Caregiver Award acknowledges and honors a caregiver’s contribution that is vital to the independence and quality of life of a person with a disability.

Senior Medicare Patrol Projects
Grants for model projects that demonstrate effective ways of utilizing retired persons as volunteer expert resources and educators in community efforts to combat health care error, fraud and abuse in the Medicare/Medicaid programs.

UnitedHealth HEROES Service Learning Grants
Funding to support youth-led projects that address childhood obesity.

Wisconsin Dental Foundation Grant
The grant program's main objective is to provide financial support to efforts aimed at providing dental care to the underserved and other philanthropic endeavors related to dentistry throughout Wisconsin.

Wisconsin Flex Rural Community Grants
Funding to coalitions who are addressing a health care issue in their community.

Wisconsin Governor's School Health Award
Award recognizing and celebrating schools with policies, programs, and the infrastructure to support and promote healthy eating; physical activity; alcohol-, tobacco-, and drug-free lifestyles; and parental and community involvement.

Wisconsin's Health Professions Loan Assistance Program (HPLAP)
Health care professionals in Wisconsin can receive up to $50,000 in educational loan assistance.
