Purpose

Transit Planning for All Mobility on Demand Projects provides funding for inclusive transportation planning, development, and implementation with grassroots-driven mobility on demand (MOD) solutions.

Grants will be awarded in areas that represent geographic diversity, in terms of different areas of the country, as well as a mix of urban, suburban, and rural areas.

Selected grantees will be required to engage people with disabilities, older adults, and caregivers in partnership with transportation, planning, and human services organizations. Projects should identify, develop, and implement MOD solutions that respond to local transportation barriers and test a standard way of sharing trip data to support coordination and mobility on demand.
