Purpose

The Special Projects Fund supports projects that have the potential to improve the health of vulnerable populations in New York.

The foundation has regular cycle grant funding for the priority areas of healthy food/healthy lives, empowering healthcare consumers, and veterans' health. The Special Projects Fund is a flexible program for projects that fit the foundation's mission, but do not fall into one of the funding priorities listed above.

Eligibility

Initiatives must fall outside of the Foundation's priority grant areas of healthy food/health lives, empowering healthcare consumers, and veterans' health.

Existing nonprofit 501(c)(3) and for-profit organizations with a significant presence in New York are eligible to apply.
