The Tennessee Nursing Home Civil Monetary Penalty Reinvestment Program provides grants for the implementation of innovative, evidence-based programs that will improve the quality of life or care in nursing homes.
Applications should demonstrate impact in at least one of the focus areas:
- Elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation
- Customer service
Eligible organizations include:
- Certified nursing homes
- Academic or research institutions
- Local, state, and tribal governments
- Health-related service providers
- Consumer advocacy organizations
- Professional nursing home associations
- Quality improvement organizations
- State ombudsman programs
- Quality improvement organizations
Funding amounts will vary by circumstance and need; however, grants will typically not exceed $6,000,000 for a 3 year project period.
