Purpose

The Rural Feasibility Study Grant Program awards funding for feasibility studies that will result in economic development in rural areas of Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, including feasibility studies for healthcare organizations.

Activities may include:

  • Market research
  • Cost analysis
  • Financial projections
  • Assessment of suitable facilities or equipment
  • Development of a business plan
Eligibility

Nonprofit organizations serving rural areas, educational institutions, and state, county, local or tribal governments are eligible to apply.

Applicants must be located in the Compeer Financial Local Service Area (144 counties in Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin).
