Purpose

The Dental Loan Repayment Program offers loan repayment assistance to dentists who agree to practice in a public health setting, nonprofit clinic, or in a practice with a focus on underserved populations in North Dakota.

Recipients must agree to practice full-time for a period of up to 5 years.

Eligibility

Any dentist willing to practice in a public health clinic, nonprofit dental clinic, or in a practice serving an underserved population in North Dakota.

Applicants must be available to begin practicing full-time at an eligible site by July 1st and must accept Medicare and Medicaid patients.

Providers can enter into a service agreement of up to 5 years for a total award of $100,000.
