The Utah Office of Primary Care and Rural Health provides educational loan repayment assistance for physicians who contract to work in a rural hospital in Utah for a minimum of 2 years.
Eligible applicants are licensed physicians in the state of Utah who agree to work in an approved rural hospital for at least 2 years.
Up to $40,000 a year for up to 3 years
The employer is required to provide a 1:1 match.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis each fiscal year. If funding is exhausted, physicians will be placed on a waiting list.
